(besides Mazzone, who's got a very simple approach that I like) It's hard to say how much is actually his reponsibility, and how much a new guy would make the same mistakes.<BR/><BR/>I'm more concerned with HoJo and the Mets approach at the plate. It doesn't feel like they're playing to the strengths of the team enough. They need to accept that they don't have power, and stop with sac-flies and driving the ball and just worry about stringing together hits, and advancing. You know how we kill guys for not making it first-third? It's because everyone is hitting the ball in the air, it's impossible to tell if it'll be caught. more line drive/up the middle/plain hitting type hits and I think guys would have better breaks and do a lot better.
