HELL YEAH BITCHES!!!!!

I just told the DHL guy who delivered my season tickets that I feel like Jimmy Fallon in Fever Pitch -- ready to hug him. He asked me if I was the Mets fan in the relationship. I'm like - dare you ask? "Mr Coop" grew up in New England, and was a Detroit Tigers fan till he met me. He wasn't emotionally invested in them though.

As an aside, the title of my blog is an homage to Fever Pitch.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!!!! (Baby PLEASE!)

I'm going to try and not use the fact that you like "Fever Pitch" (or Jimmy Fallon, for that matter) against you. Wish me luck.

hey coop, how about some credit love on the OP pic? that way people will know that i don't just take photos of david wright's ass.

i'm glad to hear that it's DHL because UPS sucks eggs. but i am calling them now for my tracking number so I can get redelivery TOMORROW.

You got it MG - I meant to give you credit, I think I had a brain fart about it.

On a side note, in Hoboken, there is a UPS truck that sits outside of the PATH at night. This is very convenient for those of us who have lives and actually work during delivery hours, and the post is at 5 pm till about 8 or 9 pm. I remember last year there was a woman FLIPPING OUT about her Mets tickets. They apparently lost them. hoo boy.

Look for your credit in a few. Thanks again MG!

Toasty, I also like Will Ferrell in talladega. Will you hold that against me too?

Looking forward to Blades of Glory. I watched some clips from it this morning and nearly had coffee come out of my nose.

i liked that fever pitch movie despite myself.

I think it should be remade, starring the boyish million dollar baby chick(a metsfan) and me. At the end, she betrays the mets and i punch her out she hits her head on a stool and goes into a coma. Then i punch out Clint Eastwood too, for good measure, because i dont support the punching of girls, im not a monster like Myers or Bobby Cox or something. First we have a lot of sex and i sing a few songs. Sex with the boys dont cry girl, not Clint or Myers. i dont know which songs.

ah. hoboken. i lived there in the wild wild west days in the 80s. yes, very convenient. here, i have to do a tap dance every time i call to reroute a package to my office. "no, i don't have a concierge. no, all my neighbors work. no, there isn't a super or a store nearby that can hold my package. no, i still won't be home on friday."

Grew up in New England as was a Tigers fan???

I've never met a non-Sox fan from New England. I didn't know they allowed that. Wow.

Mike, you never met my boyfriend. You'd understand :D

Talledega Nights was AWFUL.
I lost 2 hours of my life watching that crap. THe only laugh was when the cougar was in the car with him.
Otherwise, it was bad.
And I liked Farrell in other movies, like Elf.

Fever Pitch was awful. Talledega had a few good moments, but I wasn't that into it. Anchorman, however, is sheer brilliance.
